Hao Hongliang is the Deputy Dean, Chief Scientist, and head of research on new types of energy storage at the Ordos Research Institute of Energy, PKU. As a senior engineer and expert, Dr. Hao has extensive experience in energy research. His current research interests include hydrogen, energy storage, and integrated energy systems. Over the past two years, in his role as the chief researcher, he has successfully applied for and obtained two major provincial and national scientific research projects. He has contributed to the drafting of one international standard, four national standards, and two industry standards. Furthermore, he has been granted six invention patents, over 20 utility models, and two software copyrights. With more than 10 academic papers published, he has also received two first-class provincial-level awards.
His professional titles include: Member of the National Gas Turbine Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC259), Member of the Gas Distributed Energy Standardization Technical Committee for the Energy Industry, Executive Director of the Distributed Energy Resources Subcommittee of the IEEE PES Energy Development & Power Generation Satellite Committee-China, Member of the ES Market and Planning Technical Subcommittee of the IEEE PES Energy Storage & Stationary Battery Satellite Committee-China, and Member of the Environmental and Thermal Energy Utilization Committee of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences.
