Hu Suyun is a professor-level senior engineer and doctoral advisor. He once served as Director of the Department of Geology, Deputy Chief Geologist, and Chief Geologist at the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development at CNPC. He has been dedicated to research in petroleum and gas resource evaluation methods and technology, carbonate rocks, deep oil/gas accumulation, exploration strategy and area selection.
