Jin Zhijun is the Dean of the Institute of Energy at PKU. He is also the Dean and Chief Scientist at the Ordos  

Research Institute of Energy of PKU, where he leads research on subsurface clean energy resources. Jin Zhijun  

has been honored with titles such as Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Foreign Member  

of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In addition to these roles, Jin Zhijun is a Professor at the Sinopec  

Petroleum Exploration and Production Research Institute. He serves as the Chairman of the Academic  

Committee of the National Energy Shale Oil Research and Development Center, and he holds the position of  

Senior Member of the Sinopec Science and Technology Committee. Moreover, he is the Chairman of the  

Petroleum Geology Committee of the Geological Society of China, Vice Chairman of the Shale Gas Industry  

Standards Committee, and a Delegate to the 14th National People's Congress.
