Li Ju once served as Former Deputy Director at the China Coal Industry Development Research Center, former Vice President of  Huadian  Xinjiang Power. He is currently engaged in entrepreneurial pursuits. He  worked at the China Coal   Industry Development Research Center from 1998 to 2003, during which he was seconded to and for most of the time worked at the National Coal Industry Bureau and the National Development and Reform Commission. During this period, he participated in almost all major research projects on the coal industry, including projects on surveys and forecasts of national coal consumption, national assessments of coal supply and demand, development strategy for the coal industry, research on the 15th Five-Year Plan and 2015 plan for the coal industry, and national surveys of coal mine production capacity and rolling surveys of coal
