Wang holds a master’s degree in geology from Guilin University of Technology. Since graduation, he has been working on digital core projects and has participated  in  projects for China  National Offshore Oil Corporation and oilfields  in Changqing and Xinjiang. He has solid experience in three-dimensional reconstruction of rocks, thresholding, and flow modeling.
