Yin Jinyin is a professor-level senior engineer specialized in oil and gas geology. He currently serves as the Chief Expert at the Sinopec Petroleum Exploration and Production Research Institute. He boasts over 20 years of career experience in research on foreign petroleum and gas basins, overseas petroleum and gas resource strategy, area selection, new project evaluation, and the establishment of petroleum and gas information platforms. Yin Jinyin has contributed to the Ministry of Natural Resources’ project for compiling atlases for oil and gas exploration and development in “Belt and Road” countries, Latin America, and Africa. In recognition of his contributions, he has been awarded one second-class State Science and Technology Progress Award and four provincial and ministerial-level first- and second-class awards. Additionally, he has published more than 20 academic papers.
